Warsaw Stock Exchange and MCI Management have become Platinum Partners for "TMT Executive Seminar"

Warsaw Stock Exchange and MCI Management SA fund have granted their patronage to conferences "TMT Executives Seminar", which are organized by New Europe Events. In 2008 there are 5 events already scheduled to be held in Warsaw, Kiev and Bucharest. The purpose of this project is to attract companies from Central and Eastern Europe, which would be interested in acquiring financing for their development.

As a result of launching 'NewConnect' alternative trading system - a platform for financing innovative companies, we have decided to grant a Platinum patronage for "TMT Executive Seminars". In our opinion these conferences are geared to widening knowledge on financing and development opportunities for technology companies, which have great potential for growth - said Ludwik Sobolewski, President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

"TMT Executive Seminar" is a modern type of conferences for entrepreneurs and managers representing technology companies and investment funds from Poland and Europe. During these conferences, representatives from technology parks, consulting firms, opinion leaders, analysts and journalists get together in order to acquire the latest and reliable know-how from the following sectors: mobile/wireless, eCommerce, Biotechnology/Life science, Software, GIS/GPS.

Since July 2001 more than 2500 managers and entrepreneurs have participated in "TMT Executive Seminar". The average number of participants has been increasing steadily from 60-80 people in 2001 to over 100-120 people in 2006 and 120-170 peole in 2007. Among the partners and co-organizers of "TMT Executive Seminar" you can find i.e. ATM, Asseco, CAG, CII Group Poland, CMS Cameron McKenna, Compaq Computer, Crowley Data Poland, e-point, Hewlett-Packard, Hogan & Hartson, IBM, InfoVide, Logotec Engineering, MapInfo, Nokia, Novell, Oracle Poland, PPWK, PTK Centertel, Telefonia Dialog, and TP Internet.

Conferences TMT Executive Seminar due to Platinum Partners: Warsaw Stock Exchange and MCI Management SA are entering another stage of development and they will be leading series of conferences dedicated to new technologies in Central Europe - said Tomasz Czechowicz, Managing Partner in MCI Management SA fund.

The conferences under "TMT Executive Seminar" have had lots of interests in the last few years. Together with our Platinum Partners we have decided to organize similar conferences in other countries, where fast developing technology companies are being created. In 2008 conferences under "TMT Executive Seminar" will be held in Warsaw and Kiev and probably also in Bucharest - says Ewa Stępień from New Europe Events.
